        Karl Zahn is a furniture designer who was born and raised in Vermont. He began designing with wood and natural materials at a young age. His designs are simple and modernist, with clean lines. He also incorporates traditional furniture craft techniques into his work. Zahn studied product design at the Rhode Island School of Design and then moved to San Francisco to work in metalworking. He eventually moved to New York to start his own design firm.
