      About Ditte Vad + Julie Begtrup

      Julie Begtrup and Ditte Vad are two talented furniture and interior designers, both born in Denmark. The two designers started working together during their studies and found that they share the same aesthetic sense, view on materials and expressions in their designs.

      With a belief that designers have the opportunity and ability to improve and affect the surroundings, the duo aims to create honest, timeless and functional designs that allow a dynamic interaction between the design and its user. Their work is characterized by clean lines and graphical compositions inspired by the Nordic design philosophy. Exploring new materials, techniques and forms.

      The two friends worked on the Arc series during a period of time when they lived together. It started with sketches on paper and ended with a prototype made by hand. The Arc table invites its user to make use of the simple functionalities. The designers wanted to create a beautiful table series with space to hide your mess. the three- legged construction adds a playful and light touch to the geometric shaped design.
