As its name suggests, the hourglass shape of the G+T Pendant's shade was inspired by a cocktail jigger. The pendant's stem is wrapped in dark brown braided leather to complement the shade's luxurious metal finish. G+T's petite proportions make it particularly suited for providing additional task or accent lighting in a variety of applications.

Designer, entrepreneur and architect from Belgium, Jan Van Lierde today is a leading international creative force in lighting. Graduating from architecture school in Ghent in 1978, Van Lierde moved on to form his own architecture office and then importantly in 1982 to found Kreon the first of his many entrepreneurial and design business and design efforts to provide lighting design services for interiors. Kreon would become a major lighting design consultant for companies in Europe and would eventually start to design and produce its own lighting collections from the base in Antwerp.
