Simply put, this product is horrible. The glass bulbs or shades are poorly designed, and are to be twisted onto the "branches" with no rubber gasket between the glass and metal - you are just asking for a break! A single replacement shade is provided, however, you will need more than one for this fixture - from the time I had this installed (approx. 3 months ago) the shades have been spontaneously cracking. I came home one afternoon to find a shade falling off, as the shades are not screwed on/secured in any way. All I can say is that the fixture is poorly designed and was a huge disappointment, especially considering the high price point. Also, the shade of the gold metal looks far better in the catalog picture than it does in person. Would not recommend this purchase under any circumstances.
