An absolute stunner

I've had two of these for over two years now at the end of my driveway. I had my installer put outdoor plugs at the bottom of each pole and wired the lights to light sensors to go on at dusk and off at dawn. I use them with filament style 60 W equivalent LED bulbs.
They've worked great since installed. I like the clear glass windows since it allows the most light to shine through. The open bottom has not been a problem - they have gone through two snowy, cold northeast winters without incident. My only small criticism is in order to change the bulb you need to remove two small threaded ball knobs at the top of the fixture. This year one of the LED bulbs required replacement and I managed to drop one of the ball knobs in the grass and couldn't find it. The ball knobs are non-magnetic so I couldn't sweep a magnet over the area to find it either. However, after a call to Maxim explaining the situation they sent me two replacement ball knobs. Even though I was willing to pay, they didn't change me and even paid for the shipping! That's great service after the sale! I wouldn't hesitate to order these again.

As an expert on all things ceiling fans, Maxim sent this product along for me to analyze. Everything from the air movement to the finishes sound impressive on paper, but I was not prepared for how good these fandelier products actually are. While this is a review for the Weave model, many aspects of it translate to every single Fandelier that Maxim makes.

First and foremost, the idea is for this product to provide functional air movement with the ceiling fan component. My, does it deliver. Better than any other similar product I've ever experienced. The fan inside is 22in in span, for it to deliver the air movement that it does is extremely impressive. It's totally silent, aside from some light sound of air movement at higher speeds. A DC motor delivers maximum power at low energy consumption. Not stopping there, the design of the blade and openness of the frame allows dispersion of air over a wider area, much more like a traditional ceiling fan. Airflow is not limited to a direct stream concentrated under the fixture, a major limitation to the fan component of many fandelier products. Simply stated, this is the most impressive fandelier-type product I've ever experienced.

Everything beyond the fan component is beautiful. Delicately woven bands of metal on the exterior add a delicate feel, while maintaining the high quality build of all the other metalwork components. An introduction of mixed metals from the bronze exterior and gold leaf interior bring a softened trendy look to the design, and the integrated LED strip illuminates everything from the inside out. An included handheld remote controls all of the functions, and has advanced timer options and a fresh air function that alternates the fan speed to mimic an outdoor breeze. It's all such a high level of quality, function, and performance. Bravo.
