Designer David Pompa creates with passion and experimentation in mind. Both Austrian and Mexican, David founded studio davidpompa in 2008 to explore Mexican materials, an idea that spawned from David's first interaction with Barro Negro, a material he discovered in Oaxaca. This desire to foster a deeper understanding of historic materials, craftsmanship and disciplines lead to studio davidpompa's diverse, award-winning portfolio of bold and brilliant fixtures. Today, the studio has grown to a young international team based in the heart of Mexico City.
