4 Inch Electronic Non IC Remodel Housing
4 Inch Electronic Non-IC Remodel Housing features an integral electronic transformer. Small sized housing is compact enough to fit in 2x6 joist installations, allowing these to be used in “shallow” applications such as 2-story houses or where attic space is used for storage. Electronic transformer has advanced auto-reset, soft start and short circuit protection features. The soft start delayed lamp start feature extends lamp life by delaying the abrupt inrush current to the lamp.Housing and transformer case are 20 gauge steel, painted black. Three 0.5 inch knockouts provided for wire entry and exit. Suitable for chain wiring. Snap-out style heavy gauge retention clips firmly hold housing to ceiling. Accommodates surface thickness of up to 0.75 inches. 4 inch cutout hole. Compatibale trims include HR-8411, HR-8412, HR-8414, HR-8417, HR-D411, HR-D412, HR-D413, HR-D414, HR-D415, HR-D416, HR-D417, HR-D418, HR-D419, HR-D420, HR-D423 and HR-D425 (all sold separately). Electronic transformer for 12 volt MR16 lamps, 50 watts maximum. 120 volt input transformer. Non-IC rated. Insulation must be kept at least 3 inches away from the housing. Downward light distribution. UL and c/UL listed. Suitable for damp locations.
