Designed by Broberg & Ridderstrale, the Apollo Collection by Pholc explores balance, mass and movement through pairs of conical forms positioned end to end. Each pendant is machined from solid aluminum or brass, giving the deceptively simple geometry a tangible sense of weight and materiality. The stacked cones evoke a spinning gyroscope, creating visual tension between the downward and upward orientations of the forms. Apollo pendants are available in different proportions and finishes, including raw material treatments that allow the character of the metal to remain visible rather than disguising it beneath decorative surfaces. The narrow silhouette makes Apollo useful as a single pendant or repeated in groups over dining tables, kitchen islands and counters. With its combination of precise machining and elemental geometry, the Pholc Apollo Collection demonstrates how a minimal pendant can achieve a strong sculptural presence through proportion and material alone.
