The Fresnel Collection from Oluce is a series of lamps designed by Joe Colombo in 1966. The collection is named after the Fresnel lens, a type of lens that was originally developed for lighthouses. The Fresnel lens is made up of a series of concentric rings, which help to focus the light and make it brighter. Colombo used the Fresnel lens in his lamps to create a soft, diffused light.
