Kuzco's collaboration with New York jewelry designer Hannah Jewett translates the hardware and proportions of contemporary jewelry into functional lighting sculpture. The Septum Table Lamp is a particularly direct expression of Jewett's design language, drawing on the pierced metal hardware found throughout her jewelry work. Its compact sculptural form allows the fixture to read as a decorative object on a table, console or shelf while still providing functional illumination. Rather than adapting a familiar lamp silhouette with superficial jewelry-inspired details, the collaboration treats the hardware itself as the conceptual starting point for the design. This crossover between jewelry and lighting gives the Hannah Jewett collection a distinctive scale and material vocabulary, demonstrating how forms normally associated with objects worn on the body can be enlarged and reinterpreted for an interior.
