Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaelle Lauriot-Prevost, the In The Tube Collection by DCWEditions treats the familiar tubular light as a highly engineered architectural object. Borosilicate glass cylinders are closed with aluminum ends and supported by stainless steel mounts, creating fixtures that can be installed as pendants or on walls and ceilings. Inside, movable mesh filters or reflectors control the direction and character of the illumination, with different materials producing warmer gold or cooler silver effects. Multiple sizes and mounting possibilities make In The Tube adaptable to residential, hospitality and architectural applications, while select versions carry an IP64 rating for greater installation flexibility. The collection's industrial construction evokes everything from laboratory equipment to Jules Verne machinery, yet its filtered illumination remains soft and controlled.
