Designed by Marcel Wanders for Lladro, the Nightbloom Collection transforms delicate flower petals into dramatic handcrafted porcelain lighting. Inspired by petals opening in the moonlight, each design combines sculptural porcelain with integrated illumination, allowing light to emphasize the folds, contours and subtle translucency of the material. The collection includes chandeliers, wall lights, ceiling fixtures and table lamps, extending the botanical concept across different applications and scales. Lladro's expertise in porcelain production is central to the design: the material is not simply decorative detailing but the primary structure and expressive surface of each fixture. Nightbloom lighting works particularly well in dining rooms, bedrooms, living areas and entryways where the dimensional porcelain can be appreciated as sculpture.
