Shop Tempo Collection

Designed by Lievore Altherr, the Tempo Collection by Vibia reinterprets familiar lighting archetypes through a pared-back contemporary language. The designers studied recognizable forms from different cultures and reduced them to three essential diffuser shapes: disc, diamond and oval. Each explores a different relationship between opacity, translucency and transparency, using blown glass and LED illumination to create varying qualities of light. Tempo includes pendant and wall lighting, with wall fixtures available with short or long adjustable arms and pendants offered in multiple sizes. The restrained construction allows the glass diffuser to remain the visual focus while slender supports give the fixtures a lightweight architectural presence. Used beside a bed, above a dining surface or along a hallway, Vibia Tempo lighting provides ambient illumination while retaining a distinctly graphic silhouette. The collection demonstrates how familiar forms can be refined without losing the visual associations that make them immediately recognizable.
