I ordered 3 of these pendants in the larger size. Upon inspection prior to installation, one of the wooden inserts had a very noticeable chip. After receiving a replacement pendant (which my contractor ended up paying for since Mater disputed his request for a new light), the new light had a totally different canopy to hide the wires at the ceiling. The original lights had a cheap matt black plastic cone that is difficult to keep up. The new light has a very bright shiny metal plate that is totally out of place with the pendant. Luckily, my contractor had ordered a new canopy to match the original lights. Yesterday, the new light was installed. It looked great! This morning when I got up, the wooden insert held in by magnets, had fallen out and rolled across the island to land in the sink. I wonder how often I will have to deal with this. Bottom light? Keep looking for your pendants. I do not recommend this one! (As I write this review, the insert just fell out again!). Customer didn't buy from Lightology.
