I paid a professional electrician to install two of these in two different rooms. Now I have to pay him to take them out and just put in on/off switches. (This is someone who has done LOTS of electrical work for me with no other issues.) In one room the switch worked a couple times then it would only turn the light off, not on. In the other room it worked fine for a couple months then it would only work intermittently. Luckily the 2nd one started acting up before I ordered a replacement for the first one. Don't waste your money. Just use the remote.
