Inspired by the natural world, the Palma Wall Sconce combines light and vegetation to create a serene, organic aesthetic. The sconce's slim linear frame holds a trio of globe shades to provide warm, diffused illumination. A half-dome planter at the bottom of the fixture provides a perch for a potted houseplant to add a verdant accent to the design. Includes cover plate for standard US junction box (not pictured).
Note: Plants are not included. Because the fixture is not rated for protection against splashes, it is recommended to use a hydration gel or to pot the plant in a plastic liner pot and remove it from the fixture for watering.

About Antoni Arola
Spanish designer, Antoni Arola, began his professional career at the Estudio Lievore y Pensi in 1984. Ten years later, Arola started his own firm Estudi Arola. His projects cover highly diverse fields such as lighting projects for various design firms like Santa & Cole,Vibia, Viabizzuno, pieces of furniture and perfume containers, as well as interior design projects and ephemeral installations. Arola's eternal and continuous investigation into beauty, inspired by ancestral cultures and his own particular way of looking at light, confer on him a unique versatility which filters through into each project. Among other prizes, Arola has been awarded with the National Design Prize in 2003, four times winner of a Silver Delta Design Awards, and in 2012 winner of a Red Dot Design Award.
