Taking his cues from mid-century modern design, Clarence Mallari envisioned the Heybrook Ceiling Light to reflect the sensibilities of that lauded era. Made of metal in a mix of black and polished brass finishes, the gold semi-flush is fitted with integrated LED technology that is softened by white diffusers at the bottom of each of the three circlets holding the bulbs.

About Clarence Mallari
Clarence Mallari is a senior lighting designer at Currey & Company, where he shapes expressive, finely crafted fixtures rooted in material storytelling and artisanal technique. Mallari leans into the tactile potential of mixed media - braided rope, wrought iron, hand-woven wicker, seeded glass - combining them into forms that feel both organic and rigorously composed. His designs often reference historical - and sometimes whimsical - sources: for example, his Quennell chandelier evokes the seeded glass canisters of classic lanterns, while his Emmental chandelier plays on concentric rings inspired by the look of Swiss cheese.
