It wasn't extremely hard to set up but I did think I was going to do better than I did. Once set up it's easy to use works well and I haven't had any issues with it. I just wish I had picked it up with a light since it did end up in the garage. Made from the kind of material expected good quality and durable.

Overall it wasnt too complicated to install. I will say that I am lucky to have a husband that helped. Not sure if I personally would try putting it up on on my own. The instructions were detailed and not complicated. This is an awesome fan so far. Seems to moves a decent amount of air on high. Very quiet on on 3 speeds. We've only had it installed and using it for 6 weeks, and at this point we are very pleased with it. Hopefully my opinion stays the same with more use. We shall see. Its absolutely gorgeous on our front porch. I very much am looking forward to warmer weather so we're able to sit out and enjoy not being too hot.

I received the MinkaAire Sundowner Fan in the style F589-ORB Oil Rubbed Bronze with Dark Maple Blades. It is an indoor/outdoor model with five 54-inch blades. We purchased a mounting bracket to install the fan on our back patio. We live in Southern California, so this fan will be much more appreciated in the very hot summer months.
This comes packaged very nicely. One thing that I will say is that the outer packaging doesn't necessarily reflect the item that is in the box. If you were purchasing this in-store, you will need to look on the end of the box to see which color/style is selected. There are seven other finishes/color styles to select from. I imagine there may be many returns if someone is not paying attention to what is on the box.
The items inside the box were packaged neatly. One thing to be watchful for is the tiny hitch pin. It was loose in the plastic covering with the motor. I would recommend this being packaged differently to prevent loss of this important piece.
The all-weather blades are poly molded and ABS components. The blades are smooth on one side and have a wood grain texture on the underside that is visible. The motor itself is sort of heavy, and it helps to have an extra pair of hands to assist with installation. I would recommend installing four of the blades prior to hanging the fan.
You can purchase a light assembly or remote separately. Once we had the fan installed, we turned it on. There are three fan speeds with the pull chain. Even on the lowest setting, the airflow was significant. The fan didn't require any balancing, even though parts are included just in case.
A quiet, smooth-running fan that will keep us comfortable all year long. Our back patio certainly received a much-needed upgrade. We may have rain today, but we look forward to enjoying our cool outdoor space thanks to MinkaAire.

This indoor/outdoor ceiling fan looks great and performs even better. The design is sleek and modern, making it a nice upgrade for any space. It has three speed settings, all of which move a surprising amount of air without being noisy. Even on the highest setting, it's powerful yet impressively quiet. It's probably more of an outdoor fan since it doesn't have a light but we put it indoor and it's performed great (and feels solid and well made). Overall, it's a great combination of style, performance, and quiet operation.

A very nice-looking fan, I love the bronze color. It's a neutral color that goes well with any decor, but the bronze adds a little extra. The installation was a bit more complex than we could handle, so we had an electrician complete the installation.

We chose an indoor/outdoor model for more flexibility but ended installing it in my home office. It's quite large in this small room, but it doesn't look out of place in the small room. It is VERY quiet, which I appreciate for a home office. There are 3 speeds, I have it on the slowest setting, and it is great to have a bit of air flow to keep it from getting too stuffy.

This ceiling fan was easy to install with clear instructions and all necessary parts included. The airflow is strong and evenly distributed, making the room feel instantly cooler. Our house sits in the sun and despite air conditioning, our rooms get so hot. This has been so helpful in my kids room. It runs quietly, even on higher settings, which is a big plus. The modern design complements any space, and it feels well-built and durable. A great balance of style, performance, and reliability.

The fan was easy to install with no issues. We put it in our garage and although it could benefit from a larger down rod, we didn't include one at this time. It is well built and is durable. It definitely can blow some air around. 5/5 stars!

Unfortunately, I can not give a full review of this product because during the process of hanging the fan my son dropped it breaking the fan blades. I was super exited to use it and had the perfect spot. It was a gorgeous color.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Sundowner 54" Ceiling Fan. From the moment I unboxed it, the quality was immediately apparent. The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is rich and sophisticated, instantly upgrading the look of our covered outdoor deck (it would look just as stunning indoors, too!).
Installation was surprisingly straightforward, and the fan is incredibly stable and quiet--even on the highest setting, there is no distracting wobble or hum. The 54-inch span coupled with the five blades moves a tremendous amount of air, making those hot summer evenings comfortable and breezy.
The fact that it's designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is Energy Star certified is the icing on the cake. It offers powerful performance without running up the utility bill. This band is a great addition to any room. We set it up in our dining room and then the color match was perfect with the wall. The airflow is pretty strong. Noise level is low. Will definitely buy more for the rest of my rooms yet looks really elegant.

I'm really excited about this ceiling fan! The oil-rubbed bronze finish is gorgeous and gives off a cozy, rustic vibe that's going to look amazing in our entertainment room. I'm still waiting on my husband to install it (we'll see how long that takes ...), but it already feels super sturdy and well made. The all-weather blades and stainless steel hardware seem like they'll hold up great over time, and it moves a ton of air--over 6,500 CFM! Perfect for keeping things cool when we're watching movies or hanging out. I also love that it's Energy Star rated, so it's powerful and efficient. Living in the South our electric bill is already high enough! Overall, it's a perfect mix of style and performance. Can't wait to see it up and running! Will update photos soon!

This fan moves air. Like, seriously, it pumps out a ton of breeze--enough to keep us cool even on those gross, humid summer nights. It's got three speeds you control with a pull chain, and you can reverse it for winter to push warm air down (super handy with our little patio fireplace). It's crazy quiet, even on high, which is great because I hate noisy fans. The blades and body are built for outdoor use, so no worries about rain or damp air messing it up. It's also Energy Star rated, so it doesn't jack up our power bill (I think it uses about 79 watts max). No light came with it, but you can add one if you want. The installation is super easy and I'm a girl we put it up in the garage for now. I'm wanting to give the best review.

Very huge fan ! Best for outdoor, this is hanging on my family members outside corridor, which is perfect ! Minimal sound from it, it's outside so it doesn't bother anyone, and blows enough air. Installation was a bit tricky, but it comes with instructions.
