For high ceilings that require downrods over 18 inches or more, the DC Wire Accessory Kit is a required accessory. Hunter fans are wired for a standard ceiling height so they only go up to 12 inch downrods.

The DC Wire Accessory Kit is compatible with EcoWhisper DC motors with G1.9 receiver (located in canopy). Kit includes two sets of wires with connectors and makes adding a downrod simple.

NOTE: Not compatible with HunterExpress ceiling fans.
