The sculptural construction of the Plane Dining Table consists of slabs of timber balanced upon one another. This theme of balance is also echoed in the juxtaposition of the geometric forms with natural materials. The solid wood construction adds an organic texture that imparts a unique character to each table.

      About Jamie McLellan

      Jamie McLellan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in 1999 and since has been designing everything from footwear to striking fixtures for manufacturers around the world. Before opening his own practice in 2006, McLellan was a Senior Designer for Tom Dixon.

      Today, McLellan spends time in New York and Auckland, New Zealand where he works with talented teams of designers and manufacturers to develop unique products that transform interiors. His clients include both start-ups and highly established brands alike. These diverse relationships make McLellan's seemingly small practice a productive and successful one.

      Some of McLellan's most notable works include the Spar Floor Lamp, Spar Jnr, Fibre Light and the Eccentric Mobile.
