About Magnus Pettersen

Magnus Pettersen is an award-winning Norwegian furniture and lighting designer based in the UK. He holds a degree in Product & Furniture Design from Kingston University, followed by an MA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins. These studies, complemented by hands-on experience across various industries, equipped him with a profound understanding of essential design principles. This rich background laid the foundation for establishing his own design studio.

Pettersen's deep appreciation of craftsmanship and design flourished during his childhood in Norway, where he spent countless hours in his grandfather Finn's furniture store. Today, he approaches his work with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect is thoughtfully considered. With the aim of creating a harmonious balance between timeless appeal and purpose, natural materials are at the heart of Magnus' designs, honoring the authenticity and warmth they add.
