Ryosuke Fukusada

Ryosuke Fukusada was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1979.

After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art, he worked at Sharp Corporation before completing his studies at Milan Domus Academy (interior design course) in 2008. In the same year, he gained experience at the studio of Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola, where he was involved in projects with famous Italian manufacturers on furniture, lighting, kitchenware, etc.

After returning to Japan in 2012, Fukusada established Fukusada Studio in Kyoto, and has a track record of projects with domestic companies as well as Italian and Danish companies. He designs a wide range of products including furniture, interior products, and household goods, and these products have won numerous international design awards. He is a part-time lecturer at Kanazawa College of Art.
