Philippe Mathieu
Following a stint in the family stone-cutting business, Philippe Mathieu pursued studies in architectural heritage conservation in Venice. Relocating to Brussels in 1984, he began crafting furniture for private clients while also delving into personal projects, garnering attention from VIA with repeated "appels permanents." In 1988, he served as a project leader in Paris at the Manudecor show's 'atelier de dcors.' Notably, Mathieu collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Peter Brook, Jrme Deschamps, Jacques Rivette, Jrme Savary, and Luciano Pintill.
Transitioning into event scenography design in 1994, Mathieu expanded his creative repertoire. In 2005, he established l'Atelier de Scnographie, specializing in space optimization and bespoke furniture design for commercial and contractual ventures.
