Jeffrey Alan Marks
Jeffrey Alan Marks' work is equal parts good nature and good taste. Among America's design icons thanks in part to his star turn on TV the bicoastal designer is known for relaxed and refined spaces that are inimitably original. His collaborations with architects on new homes provide lasting charm for generations. The author of a forthcoming book (Rizzoli, Spring 2025) and The Meaning of Home (Rizzoli, 2013), Jeffrey is frequently featured in international design bibles including Elle Dcor, Architectural Digest, Vogue Living, and House Beautiful. For more than 30 years his projects have spanned the world, from storied London townhomes to sand-swept Malibu beach compounds, always with one thing in common: a fervor for authenticity. Designed to be lived in rather than looked at, Jeffrey's classic and tailored interiors stand apart each layered with personality, timeless color choices, and custom details. He has designed eponymous product collections for Kravet, The Rug Company, A. Rudin, Palecek, and The Tile Shop. He lives with his husband and their daughter in Montecito and East Hampton and is currently at work on residential projects across the globe.
