Steven Sabados
Steven Sabados, born and raised in Niagara Falls, Canada, pursued his passion for the artsincluding painting, photography, and designfrom an early age, later moving to Toronto after completing his Fine Arts education to work as a Creative Director for major retail brands and a set designer for television shows like "Fashion Television." After meeting his partner Christopher Hyndman in 1989, they formed The Sabados Group, and their complementary talents quickly led them to television success with hit programs like "Designer Guys" (2001), "Design Rivals," and their highly successful CBC daily talk show, Steven and Chris (20072015), which aired almost 1000 episodes and continues to be broadcast internationally. Alongside their television career, they launched the S&C product brand in 2007, offering a full line of home furnishings. Following Christopher Hyndman's passing in 2015, Steven continued his television career by hosting The Goods and expanded the Steven Sabados STUDIO product brand, which is directly inspired by his personal artwork, sculpture, and photography, maintaining a strong presence on television and digital media while upholding the philosophy of timeless, fresh & fabulous.
