Jason Koharik

Jason Koharik is a Los Angeles based designer and self-taught artist known for his sculptural, one-of-a-kind furniture and lighting that blur the line between fine art and functional design. Originally from Bedford, Ohio, Koharik moved to Los Angeles at 19 and later transitioned from working in film and wardrobe into creating handcrafted objects from his Glassell Park studio. His work draws from Art Nouveau and modernist influences, emphasizing organic forms, rich materials such as wood, brass, steel, leather, and glass, and an art-first philosophy that prioritizes emotional presence over mass production. In addition to original pieces, he reimagines vintage and found objects, transforming them into distinctive works that bring narrative, craftsmanship, and a sense of sacred space into interiors.
