Mads Caprani

Danish designer Mads Caprani trained as an electrician and electrical engineer before joining Louis Poulsen, where he worked alongside design icons Arne Jacobsen, Poul Henningsen, and Verner Panton. In 1979 he took over his father's lamp factory, renaming it Caprani Light and expanding it into a global brand with branches across Europe and the US. His signature creation, the Timberline Floor Lamp, became an instant best-seller and design iconso beloved it's simply known as the Caprani Lamp.
