Sergio Calatroni

Sergio Calatroni is an Italian designer, architect, and visual thinker born in 1951 in Santa Giuletta, Pavia. After studying set design at Milan's Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, he developed a multifaceted practice spanning architecture, industrial and interior design, graphics, creative direction, and installation. His lighting creations - such as the sculptural Papiro floor lamp for Pallucco - reveal his fascination with line, light, and space, forging functional objects that also act as elegant, expressive gestures.
