Luis Eslava

Luis Eslava (born 1976 in Valencia) is a Spanish designer whose work seamlessly blends lighting, objects, interiors and exhibition projects. After studying at the Royal College of Art in London, gaining experience at Camper and spending time in Japan, he founded his eponymous studio around 2007. His lighting work, notably for LZF Lamps (e.g., the Agatha pendant, Paisley screen), tends to explore folded forms, translucent materials, and the tension between craftsmanship and industrial production. He also teaches and leads product design programs at Elisava in Barcelona, where his research emphasizes materiality, the creative process, and bridging artisan techniques with scalable design.
