Javier Herrero

Javier Herrero (born 1981 in Valencia) is a Spanish designer known for his work in lighting and furniture through his independent practice, Javier Herrero Studio, founded in 2009. After studying Industrial Design Engineering at CEU Cardenal Herrera and spending a formative year at Politecnico di Milano, he initially co-founded the collective studio Ebuala in 2004 before going solo. His lighting designs are marked by a freshness and simplicity that reflect a Mediterranean sensibility, where soft geometry, honest materials and refined proportions merge into pieces that feel both functional and emotionally resonant.
