Francesco Rota

Francesco Rota is a Milan-based designer whose work spans lighting, furniture, interiors and spatial interventions. He studied product design at the Art Center College of Design (La Tour-de-Peilz) before founding his multidisciplinary studio in 1998. In lighting, Rota embraces clarity and material balance - his collections for Oluce and other brands often juxtapose minimal forms, hidden geometry and subtle details of texture. Over the years, his aesthetic has remained rooted in elegance and longevity: he seeks to design pieces that feel effortless yet intelligent, integrating light into the architecture while respecting the discipline of industrial production.
