Sergio Asti
Sergio Asti (19262021) was an Italian architect and industrial designer celebrated for his elegantly restrained approach to form across lighting, furniture, glassware, and interior systems. Educated at the Politecnico di Milano, he opened his studio in the 1950s and became one of the founders of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale). Over his long career, Asti created iconic pieces - from the Marco glass vase to the Profiterole lamp and modular kitchens - that fuse sculptural clarity with disciplined utility, earning him a Compasso d'Oro and inclusion in major museum collections worldwide.
