Ferdi Giardini
Ferdi Giardini (born 1959, Turin) is an Italian designer whose background in stage design and sculptural practice deeply informs his lighting work. Transitioning in the mid-1990s into lighting, he became known through works such as the Blow fan lamp for Luceplan, which melds kinetic motion and luminaire form. Giardini's lighting pieces balance fluid, organic gesture with industrial precision - combining gestures of movement, transparency, and sculptural volume to turn functional light into expressive form.
