Every piece of Il Pezzo Mancante lighting comes with a small hidden brass cylinder, containing a serial number that seals the authenticity and uniqueness. About Cosimo Terzani

Born in Florence in 1980, Cosimo Terzani graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan in 2003. From 2004 to 2010 he worked for his family's prestigious luxury lighting business, Terzani, serving as creative director and offering him a chance to collaborate with internationally acclaimed designers.

These experiences inspired a passion to create, with raw materials, artisan craftsmanship and authenticity at the forefront. Now based in Tuscany, Cosimo handcrafts lighting and furniture with his partner Barbara Bertocci, bringing their vision to life through Il Pezzo Mancante: The Missing Piece.

Using solid woods, brass castings, hand-blown crystal and marble, Cosimo forms works of art that have captured the attention of the world's top designers, including Philippe Starck who selected Cosmio's fixtures for several high-profile projects.
