Great for low ceilings

I took this out of the box when I first got it and was impressed with how thin it is yet very sturdy and well made. It is no thicker than a picture frame and had a strong hanging plate. It is perfect for my finished basement which has only 6'8'' ceilings. Looks great and the lighting is bright but not harsh. Am going to get a dimmer switch which I couldn't use with my fluorescent fixture.

This is a bright light. And it's huge! That's good tho because it definitely brightens up the room and makes seeing much better. Also doesn't stick out really far so it looks good. If you have low ceilings like we do that is awesome. I do makeup videos and my daughter is an artist and this definitely gave us the much needed light we were looking for. Pretty easy instillation. Will need a second set of hands though because it is too big to handle alone. But easy wiring and good instructions. I give it a 10

Powerful Light

This light does the trick. Its super super thin which was important for me because I have lower ceilings. It has a slick frame and produces good light. I took down an old fluorescent fixture that was super bulky and this changes the look of the whole room!!

Replaced 18 old dim fixtures in our church basement. Easy to install, the 3000K is just the right spectrum, plenty bright, and a great appearance. The safety chain supplied could be stronger/better anchored.

This appeared to be the perfect light to install in our downstairs family room/ library, which has relatively low ceilings and needed good lighting. It's only problem is the mounting system. It has fallen off the bracket twice!

The mounting bracket falls into the light box and when you try to push the fixture up to snap in it doesn't work. It's a challenge and not worth the effort in my opinion. If a fixture can only mount with one application it needs to be brought to the clients attention....not surprise the Electrician and have to deal with this product.

Hanging Harware is Complete Garbage

In order to hang this, you have to attach a bracket to the ceiling and then the light slides into it. Well, this is a very poor design. I attached the bracket to my ceiling and the light just will not slide into the bracket. I spend well over 5 hours on this. It turned out that the tabs on the light fixture were hitting the ceiling and digging in so I could not slide the light. I ended up unscrewing all four tabs from the fixture and bending them so they were straighter and could slide into the slots on the bracket without hitting the ceiling. I managed to get two of the tabs to slide into the bracket, but I just can't get the other two to engage. It's hanging my only half of the tabs, but I am done with it. I wasted too much time. Also, the safety wire does not stay in the slot. What a piece of garbage. If I hadn't already drilled 1/4" hols in my ceiling, I would return this. However, there was no way to tell this would happen until the bracket was installed onto my ceiling. I could never recommend this light to anyone, even an enemy.

Light is very good quality, easy to install, and the light out put is great. I would highly recommend this item.
