Have you ever wanted to swap out your light fixtures without cutting into your ceiling? Freejack is the plug-and-play solution that makes changing your lights as easy as changing your pillows. Energy-efficient and easy to install, freejack pendants and spotlights are known under a range of proprietary names, including Fast Jack, Unijack and Quick Jack. Name aside, these versatile low-voltage solutions provide a great deal of flexibility for lighting all types of spaces.

What is freejack lighting?

Freejack technology greatly simplifies the work of light installation. The term “freejack” refers to the coaxial connector that easily inserts into the freejack canopy or monorail. This makes it possible to swap out or move lights as desired — no complicated tools or techniques needed. All freejack light fixtures are 12 volts, which means that a separate transformer may be necessary depending on the fixture itself and the installation.

Freejack Canopy

Where and how can I use freejack fixtures?

Suspend a single freejack light from a monopoint canopy on the ceiling.
From stylish freejack pendants to freejack spotlight and trackheads, this is the cleanest, most elegant installation option. You can also arrange several small freejack canopies for larger lighting installations. In most cases, the transformer is included in the canopy or junction box. If you are using an LED head or pendant, be sure to choose a compatible canopy.

Install freejack fixtures on monorail systems.
Monorail systems are low-voltage lighting systems similar to track lighting. They draw power from the junction box, but can extend along the ceiling wherever you need your lights. They are ideal for kitchen islands and dining room tables, but are an easy solution for hanging pendants whenever your junction box isn't where you need it to be.

Mix pendants with freejack accent heads for additional task, accent or art lighting — or run multiple monorails parallel to each other for a dazzling display.

Combine multiple freejack lights on a multiport canopy.
Choose a canopy with the right number of ports for the lights you wish to install. Most canopies are already sold with the necessary transformer. This solution gives you the freedom to group multiple light fixtures for eye-catching looks.

Cluster lights of various sizes and shapes from the same product family and create your own unique suspension.
