Spanish designer Miguel Mila originally conceived the Estadio series of lights for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. The Linear Estadio Linear Suspension is the linear member of the Estadio family, featuring an arrangement of elegant sparkling glass blocks held within a tubular metal structure. The fixture disperses light through vertical rays and shadows created by the textured glass.

Note: Due to the weight of this fixture, additional ceiling support is required. The fixture must be mounted or supported independently of a junction box.

Note: The 180.3 inch length requires two electrical connections.

    About Miguel Mila

    Miguel Mila represents like no other person Spanish contemporary design. He belongs to the pioneer's generation of the 50s, and has seen how many of his pieces of furniture and lamps have become real classics.

    Miguel Mila started working as an interior designer in the architecture studio of his brother Alfonso Mila and partner Federico Correa. It was the end of the 50s, a time of crisis when Spain hardly knew what industrial design was. There was practically no industry, everything was generally handmade. This framework marked the way Miguel Mila understood design, sensitive to the appreciation and use of traditional techniques.
