Proving his prowess with woven and wrapped natural materials, Clarence Mallari designed the Hopscotch Chandelier. The frame and the arms from which it hangs are seamlessly wrapped in abaca rope. Fitted to the bottom of the disc-like form is a frosted glass diffuser that bows downward in the middle to add elegance to this piece. The rope chandelier is fitted with integrated LED with color-select technology which allows user to select between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K color temperature options.

About Clarence Mallari
Clarence Mallari is a senior lighting designer at Currey & Company, where he shapes expressive, finely crafted fixtures rooted in material storytelling and artisanal technique. Mallari leans into the tactile potential of mixed media - braided rope, wrought iron, hand-woven wicker, seeded glass - combining them into forms that feel both organic and rigorously composed. His designs often reference historical - and sometimes whimsical - sources: for example, his Quennell chandelier evokes the seeded glass canisters of classic lanterns, while his Emmental chandelier plays on concentric rings inspired by the look of Swiss cheese.
