The Melt Burst Chandelier is a stunning fixture with a large scale perfect for occupying volume in a lobby, entryway or communal space. Twelve hypnotically spiraling polycarbonate shades produce a myriad of dazzling reflections as they branch outwards from a sputnik-like frame to form a cluster of light. ELV and Standard 120V dimmable.
Note: Due to the weight of the fixture, additional ceiling support is required.

About Tom Dixon
Self-taught British industrial designer Tom Dixon is Creative Director of his eponymous London design studio specializing in lighting, furniture, and home accessories. Clean lines and minimalist silhouettes with mid century modern influences are the hallmarks of Tom Dixon lighting, which come to life in a diverse array of metal finishes.
Housed in museums like the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art New York (MoMA), and the Parisian Centre George Pompidou, Tom Dixon's pieces have become contemporary design icons. He became a household name in 1996 when he designed Jack Light for his company, EuroLounge. In 1998 Tom became the head of design at Habitat and later transitioned to Creative Director for the company until 2008.
In 2007, Dixon launched Design Research Studio, an architectural/interior design and product development studio with high-profile projects including London's Shoreditch House, The Royal Academy of Arts, and Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa.
