About Jette Scheib

Jette Scheib studied Product Design at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany. After graduation in 2005, she founded her own studio as an independent product designer creating many home accessories and gifts for international companies. In 2009 Jette went back to the University of the Arts to work as a design teacher for three years. Since 2018 she mainly focuses on the field of interior and lighting design. I am inspired by nature and organic shapes, but also by people and everyday life. I am observing my surroundings, I study objects, people, people interacting with objects and each other. I am driven by curiosity intuition and the desire to create something that has value, personality, makes you feel good and adds a new context or dimension to a functional object.''
