Knot Cilindro Pendant - Overstock

SPEC #: BIS1491270

ID: OS-US01019_025

Knot Cilindro Pendant is a stately fixture that combines coarse natural fiber with smooth, transparent blown glass creating a contrast as striking as it is dignified. A cylindrical glass shade is penetrated by a robust cord that seemingly pulls the bottom of the glass inward for a bemusing plastic effect. The LED light source is housed in a handsome top hood, which, like the cord end cap, is fashioned in refined metal. Knot is well-suited to both private and public interior spaces and makes a particularly impressive statement above dining tables.

Questions & Answers

Brokis is the creation of Czech entrepreneur and engineer, Jan Rabell. Founded in 2006, Brokis enlivens and beautifully elevated Bohemian glassmaking to new heights, all while preserving generations of knowledge and craftsmanship. Brokis has firmly established itself as a leading innovator in glass lighting. For example, the complex technology applied in production of the Night Birds collection, which consists of imposing yet elegant curved glass silhouettes of birds in various phases of flight, required two years of experimentation to perfect. Today, Brokis and Jantejn Glassworks employ a total of 100 people and enjoy a unique symbiosis that has allowed Brokis to launch sales operations in 70 countries and showcase its renowned lighting collections at the world's top design exhibitions.
