The IP55 Wall Sconce features an angled opal glass diffuser with a flattened shape, which offers unique perspectives as the sconce is viewed from different angles. IP55's rounded glass captures unexpected reflections and provides a warm diffused glow suitable for a wide variety of applications. As its name indicates, the fixture is IP55 rated for protection against water, making it a perfect fit flanking a bathroom mirror. Includes backplate to cover standard US junction box (not pictured).

About Francesca Smiraglia
Francesca Smiraglia (b. 1983) graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2008 with an emphasis on lighting and product design. Since founding her own studio in 2016, Smiraglia has continued to work in those fields, as well as expanding into interior design, illustration, and brand identities. Her designs explore the relationship between humans and their environment as well as formal aesthetics and functionalism.
