The Melt Dichroic Portable Floor / Hanging Lamp is both stylish and versatile, making it a useful addition to any space. The irregularly shaped polycarbonate shade recalls the look of molten glass and features a mirrored silver finish when off and transparent with a myriad of warped internal reflections when switched on. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tom Dixon's Melt collection, this version of the lamp is fitted with a dichroic lens which splits light from the integrated LED light source into constituent parts of the spectrum, producing an array of colors. A tripod base provides support when used as a floor or table lamp, and a hanging strap is also included to use the lamp as a pendant. The lamp's built-in LED light source is powered by a rechargeable battery, allowing Melt to be placed wherever it is needed to create the perfect atmosphere. Dimmer button located on base.
