The Urchina Pendant translates the symmetrical shape of sea urchins into a constellation of light that appears to hover in mid-air. An array of slender carbon fiber rods support polycarbonate diffusers that emit a gentle glow. A downward light in the center of the fixture provides general illumination in addition to the ambient, upward glow. Urchina is available in a variety of sizes to suit any space, from an intimate living room to a large lobby or public space.

Roderick Vos is a Dutch industrial designer and the founder of Studio Roderick Vos in the Netherlands. A graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven, he brings a deep respect for craftsmanship and materials to his work, along with cultural influences shaped by his early years working in Japan. His approach is rooted in humility and emotion, resulting in designs marked by clarity, simplicity and character.
