Discover the understated brilliance of the Flos Smithfield C Ceiling Light Fixture, a design by Jasper Morrison that embodies sleek simplicity and robust performance. This versatile ceiling light is perfectly suited for any room, offering a clean, unobtrusive presence that seamlessly integrates into diverse interior aesthetics. Its expansive aluminum shade, available in a sophisticated palette, gracefully encloses an opalescent polycarbonate diffuser. This combination ensures a beautifully diffused, uniform glow that illuminates your space without harshness.

The Smithfield C goes beyond basic illumination by offering advanced lighting control. You can select between a crisp 2700K or 3000K color temperature to set the ideal mood. Designed for modern electrical systems, it supports both Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) or Triac dimming at 120V, and provides robust 0-10V dimming at 120-277V. This makes it an incredibly adaptable choice for a wide range of residential and commercial applications where precise light control and a refined aesthetic are paramount.

    Sales Consultant Recommendation

    By (Staff Lighting Consultant)

    Oct 05, 2014

    • Do You Recommend This Product? Yes
    • Quality: Exceptional
    • Design: Outstanding
    • Installation: Easy
    • Light Output: Just Right
    • Value: Good Value

The Smithfield utilizes a single high-wattage halogen bulb that offers exceptional lumen output, making it an ideal solution for high task areas. What makes this fixture stand out to me is the quality of the diffuser, which does an exceptional job of creating even light distribution while preventing very concentrated "hot spots" that can be visually distracting. While simple in design, the details are exceptional. The Smithfield is also available in a ceiling mount.
