Powerful yet silent fan

Absolutely love this ceiling fan. It is very large and moves a great amount of air, but it is absolutely silent. It is enabled us to keep our home cool on summer days and pull the warm air from the ceiling down to the floor when we reach frigid temperatures. It was easy to install an assemble. I will definitely be purchasing the light kit, however it was not include

Love the color first and foremost. Great addition to my porch! Seems sturdy and has good airflow. Easy to install. Was up in about 30 minutes. Fairly quiet, too. Would recommend!

This can was easy to install. It has good power and can cool a room easily. The color is nice and it weighs similar to most ceiling fans. Made out of good materials.

This ceiling fan looks and sounds great almost no sound from the motor when it's running. Pros: easy operation with switch or pull string. Summer/winter switch for changing direction of air flow keeps the room nice and comfy. The bronze with the wood grain blades look so nice in my room and no scratches! Install was also easy with the right tools only took 20 min once I installed the new box that would hold a ceiling fan. I had a flush mounted light there originally so it gave me a reason to install 6 can lights in the room. When you turn it on from 1 slow to full speed 4 it really gets the air moving. Now the Cons: when I was inspecting everything making sure everything was in the box I notice a few parts with some mechanical problems. The 1/2 pipe thread had a good flat spot and made it a little annoying to get it thread into the fan motor mousing. There was also a mount clip that holds the fan housing center and from spinning during shipping the Philips head was stripped and cross threaded so I removed it and was able to re tap the threads and all was good. Now the operation works great with a regular switch but paired with a 4 speed Lutron switch it spins for a second then turns off an it will keep doing it until you turn it to speed 3 on the wall switch the back to the speed 1 or 2. It makes like a small gong noise on speed 1 and 2 I'm guessing that's the motor engaging and disengaging as needed. It's a little annoying when the room is quiet. would have been a better review if it didn't have those problem but it gets the job done.

This fan is the perfect size and it's absolutely gorgeous! It is very nice! It's sturdy and it's an indoor or outdoor fan. I would most definitely recommend you buying this fan! It also has a nice long string to adjust the speed.

I had never heard of this brand of ceiling fan until I saw this Minka Sundance 52" 5 blade ceiling fan. I was so excited to know it was indoor/outdoor! It is so beautiful on our patio. My husband didn't have any problems installing the fan. It was super easy. The only thing is, the fan has three speeds, but when we turn it on, it starts going one way, then turns around to spin the correct way. It takes the blades a few seconds to start to turn, but the three speeds are great. The 52" blades are perfect for the patio setting. I can't wait until the summertime to come back. I know this fan will cool the area perfectly!!!

Classic Fan

This fan is a classic design with few bells and whistles. It does not come with a light kit or a remote, both of which were a bit disappointing. Installation felt more complicated than it should have been, but I did get it done in about an hour. You may need another pair of hands to assist, but it can mostly be done by one person if you have some experience. The fan does work nicely once installed. We have an odd shaped ceiling in our family room, and I was able to use the drop down rod to make this fit even that strange ceiling area. That was much appreciated. It's a big fan, so it pushes a lot of air efficiently. It looks nice on the ceiling and would fit with a variety of styles both classic and modern. The fan does mention it is "contractor series" which generally doesn't make me think of high quality products, but the fan is pretty nice overall and feels durable like it will last. It's fairly quiet as well. Ultimately I can recommend the product. Just bring your patience for installation.

Minka Sundance 52" 5 Blade Indoor /Outdoor Ceiling Fan - Oil Rubbed Bronze

I selected this fan for my sunroom. I already have one fan, but since the room is on the west side of my house, it urgently needed another fan to cool the space. The design is classic and simple. I intend to add a light fixture in the future, which is an easy upgrade. Most of my other fixtures are oil rubbed bronze, and this fan complements that aesthetic perfectly. It was very easy to assemble. My husband put it together in about 30 minutes.

We just recently moved into a new house and almost everything needs to be refurbished. This room did not have a ceiling fan. Although this fan is too big for the room, we installed it. We bought the light separately as it was not included. It's high speed and love the design. Doesn't make any noise.

This fan is awesome! I love the brass and wood combination and how lightweight the box was. Hubby has no issues installing, it's quiet but still has the power of hurricane gussy, blowing away!
