The Bonbori Table Lamp was inspired by the traditional paper lamps in Japan. Bonbori not only denotes this form of lighting, but also describes the soft light from within a snowy cave. Available in two sizes. Glass shade available in Transparent Opaline, triplex Opal, Transparent Smoke Brown, or Transparent Smoke Grey. Finish in Matte Metallic Copper, Matte Metallic Grey, or Matte Black with a Black or Light Grey 7.8 foot textile cord. On/off switch on cord. CE listed.

About Fumie Shibata
After graduating from the Musashino Art University, Fumie Shibata worked at a large electrical goods manufacturer and then founded Design Studio S. Shibata has been working on many projects with domestic and overseas brands, including electronic goods, daily goods, medical equipment, and hotel creative direction. Her accolades include the iF Gold Award, and the Design for Asia Top, Culture, and Gold Awards. Currently, Fumie Shibata works as Professor of Musashino Art University and as the Judging Committee Chair of the 2018-2019 Good Design Awards.
