Tala was founded by friends at the University of Edinburgh who have a passion for design, technology, and sustainability. Made from high quality fully recyclable materials, Tala LED bulbs use 90% less energy than incandescent equivalents and have a lifespan of 5 to 10 years in residential settings. This efficiency and longevity reduces energy bills and lowers the users' carbon footprint. Together, with reforestation partners, Tala has planted over 40,000 trees worldwide.
