Finding a ceiling fan for vaulted ceilings may seem like a daunting task, but many of today's manufacturers build pivoting technology right into the ceiling fan downrod. Perfectly suited for sloped ceilings with an angle of 30 degrees or less, these ceiling fans will pivot and hang exactly as you need them. If the fan blades are too close to the sloped ceiling, find a downrod extension to help give you more clearance. You'll want approximately 1 foot between the blade and the ceiling.
