The Falkland Pendant embodies an organic form that emerges from the interplay of forces: the tension of a stretched tube made of finely woven fabric and the weight of metal rings of varying sizes. Bruno Munari (1907-1998) was one of the greatest figures of 20th-century art, design, and graphics. He devoted his creative activity to testing, with special focus on children's life and games. Without ever separating contents from forms and materials, he designed books, play-books, and toys to stimulate thinking. His creations in the fields of painting, sculpture, design, photography, and education span across his poetic approaches, along the wake of his unique personality.
